From the Embers of Failure

People in the world adamantly believe defeat is what damns a person. From the beginning, we learned through trial and error. It is written in the stones of ancient caves. We observed. We tried. And if the outcome was desirable, we repeated. However, it is when we failed that we gained the most knowledge. If we simply succeeded at everything in life, without faults, we would be depriving ourselves of precious knowledge. Needed knowledge.

We would be absolutely oblivious to the presence of a second or third option. Nor would we know what to do in the case of a detrimental setback. Failure is not articulated as a taboo in society. It is perfectly alright to be wrong. It is not a curse and should not be perceived as such. Your response to the event will determine whether or not you are "damned."

Did you learn from your mistake? Or did you shove it in a box without acknowledging it had even occurred?  Failure is not something to be easily dismissed, there will be consequences for doing so. It is something that needs to be understood thoroughly. Ask yourself" "Why did this happen?" "Where did I go wrong?"

Do not pin the blame of the end result on someone else especially if it occurred within your own free will. You will get nowhere by doing so. Just accept it and continue onward. You are going to make mistakes. That much is undeniable. Do not let the memory of pain stop or undermine you.

Failure is not a tangible object. It has no life form unless you manifest it yourself. That being said, it cannot steal your skills. Nor should it profoundly paralyze your passion. Never let a moment of mishap delineate who you are. You must recognize them as what they truly are-things that only last a moment.

Our missteps are not allowed to expropriate your scared dreams. The only way that that could happen is if you inflame the cinders of forsaken loss. The only influence failure has over your life is slowing you down.

Nevertheless, there are instances where your mistakes are obscured behind a subsequently glistening miracle, veering you in a more enticing direction. Loss is a dastardly event, even though it may last mere seconds. But from the embers of failure, we will stand once again.
